This is the only public location where this incredible material can be collected, and until now it has never been opened with heavy equipment.

parking passes are only needed for each car, but will be needed whether you are in the clubhouse or not for these two days so that we can and not have too many people show up since this will be highly advertised
Clubhouse members will receive exclusive early access for two weeks before tickets open to the public, giving you the best chance to secure a spot at this historic dig.
🚜 THE MACHINE WILL BE RUNNING ALL DAY
For the first time ever, an excavator will be opening fresh ground and creating new digging zones throughout the event, producing loose fines and super easy finds. This means rainbow petrified wood will be coming out of the ground constantly.

🚜 The Crystal Collector will personally be operating the excavator, making sure new areas are opened and everyone has the chance to find great material.
Expect to see beautiful colorful petrified wood with reds, oranges, yellows, and purples, some of the most vibrant petrified wood found anywhere in the Southwest.

This is an excellent price for rainbow petrified wood, especially with the machine exposing fresh material.
📦 Large Pieces
If you find a piece too large for a 5 gallon bucket, the property owner will price it separately based on size and quality.

Everyone is welcome at the mine, but for safety:
⚠️ Only ages 12 and up will be allowed in the active machine digging area
For younger collectors and families, we will also have pre-excavated dump piles available that anyone can dig through, making it fun and accessible for all ages.
